Save My Soul Patch

SAVE MY SOUL, screamed by a tiger with enormous blue eyes and its mouth wide open. A perfectly reasonable request.

Patch Ya Later’s Save My Soul Patch has the feel of an old embroidered souvenir or biker patch, with a snarling tiger stitched onto a cream background and the words Save My Soul picked out in bright red around it. The black embroidered edging keeps the whole thing nice and bold.

The tiger is particularly good. Golden yellow with black markings, those slightly wild turquoise-blue eyes and a bright red mouth full of very sharp white teeth. Even the whiskers have been picked out in metallic gold thread, which is an excellent detail when you get up close.

It’s the mix of something quite traditional – that classic tiger head and round patch shape – with the slightly desperate Save My Soul message that makes it so good. Stick it onto denim, a jacket, a bag or wherever you have a blank space that could do with a screaming tiger.

Quite hard to argue with that face.
