Gruyère Soy Wax Candle

A wedge of Gruyère, vacuum packed and ready for absolutely no sandwiches whatsoever.

This might be one of NATA Concept Store’s most convincing food candles yet. Pale yellow soy wax, a proper wedge shape and those unmistakable holes, all sealed inside clear packaging with a deli-style Gruyère label across the top. Leave it lying on the kitchen counter and somebody is going to be disappointed.

The candle weighs 150g and has a burn time of approximately 30 minutes, although the packaging actually suggests keeping it as decoration if you can resist lighting it. We can see why.

It’s the presentation that really gets us with this one. There’s something deeply satisfying about a candle being packaged exactly like a piece of cheese you’ve just brought home from the deli.

One for cheese people, obviously, but also excellent for keen cooks, food obsessives and hosts. Add it to a kitchen shelf, sit it on a cheeseboard when nobody is looking, or give it to the friend who considers cheese a perfectly acceptable evening meal.
