Le Bon Shoppe Naturel Soft Jersey Supple Tee

This sits in that very useful space between a long-sleeved T-shirt and a sweatshirt. Not bulky, not flimsy, and soft enough that you’ll happily wear it straight against your skin.

Le Bon Shoppe make the Supple Tee from a baby-soft cotton jersey with a little more weight to it than a standard tee. The shape is deliberately oversized and relaxed, with dropped shoulders and a wide body that hangs rather than clings. Then there are those sleeves. Full and slightly ballooned, with shirring into the ribbed cuffs that gives the whole thing much more shape than your usual long-sleeved jersey top.

Naturel is a warm, creamy off-white rather than a stark white, which I think suits this fabric perfectly. Wear it loose over jeans or wide trousers, or let the longer length poke out underneath a knit or jacket.

It’s also exactly the sort of thing I want when a sweatshirt feels like too much but a T-shirt definitely isn’t enough.

Made in South Korea. The garment-dye and washing process means there will be slight variations in colour and fit between pieces.
