Konges Sløjd Dot Miao Verde Juno Printed Bomber Jacket

I'm very fussy about character prints. They can so easily end up feeling a bit loud, or something children outgrow almost as quickly as they outgrow the sleeves.

This one is different.

The little vintage-style kittens have so much charm, but it's the colour palette that completely won me over. That deep green with the tiny scattered dots grounds the whole print, so it feels considered rather than overly cutesy. It's unmistakably Konges Sløjd, and exactly the sort of print that makes people stop and ask where you found it.

The bomber shape helps too. It gives the jacket a slightly sportier feel, which balances the sweetness perfectly. Throw it over grey joggers, denim or simple leggings and you've got an outfit without having to think too hard.

Lightly quilted, it's brilliant for those in-between months when the weather can't decide what it's doing. Warm enough for chilly mornings, light enough that children can still run, climb and disappear into whatever adventure they've invented that day. The zip is easy for little hands, the ribbed trims keep everything comfortable, and the pockets will inevitably end up carrying home whatever treasures have been discovered along the way.

Some prints come and go. This one feels like classic Konges Sløjd, and I think that's exactly why I like it.
