Konges Sløjd Big Kitty Hairclip

This is completely ridiculous, in the best possible way. Two tiny kittens, matching enormous blue polka-dot bows, little fluffy tails sticking out at either side. There was absolutely no need for Konges Sløjd to go this far with a hairclip, but I’m very glad they did.

The kittens have that slightly kitsch, vintage storybook look that makes the whole thing feel like something you might have found in a brilliant dressing-up box years ago. Look closely and there’s loads of detail too — glossy little faces, painted whiskers and paws, right down to the white dots on those oversized bows.

It’s a proper statement clip rather than a tiny decorative slide. The kittens sit together across the barrette, so it works brilliantly holding back a good section of hair or clipped into a half-up style. And despite everything going on, the creamy caramel and powder blue colour combination is actually incredibly pretty.

Basically, if you’re going to put two kittens in your hair, I think they should look exactly like this.
