Jellycat Ghost Bob

Ghost Bob is back, and apparently he’s been spending the afterlife on the dance floor.

Soft, squidgy and pleasingly simple, Bob is everything you want a ghost to be. A wobbly white shape, two little arms, a gently scalloped bottom and a pair of embroidered black eyes. No chains, no terrifying noises in the night, no unfinished business. He just wants to dance.

He’s particularly good at finding a party. If Bob hears music somewhere in the distance, walls present absolutely no obstacle – he’ll simply shimmy straight through them until he reaches the source. Being a ghost does occasionally have its advantages.

Once there, getting him to leave is another matter. Bob follows the music, throws some shapes and, when things really get going, quite literally floats on air.

We’re very pleased Jellycat decided that ghosts don’t necessarily need to be spooky. Some of them can just be excellent company with an unusually strong commitment to the dance floor.

He wouldn’t be seen dead anywhere else.
