Jellycat Amuseables Birthday Cake Bag

A birthday cake you can take with you, without having to worry about icing ending up everywhere.

The Amuseables Birthday Cake Bag turns one of Jellycat’s happiest little characters into a brilliantly silly bag. Three soft layers of golden sponge are sandwiched with cream icing, with fluffy white frosting on top and a scattering of plush red strawberries. There’s even a striped candle poking out of the top, complete with its own little flame.

The scarlet red strap picks up the strawberries and makes the whole thing even better. Wear it crossbody and you’ve essentially got an entire birthday cake hanging from your shoulder, complete with Jellycat’s familiar stitched smile and little cordy legs dangling underneath.

Obviously excellent for an actual birthday, particularly when the bag itself gets to be part of the present. But limiting a cake bag to birthdays seems unnecessarily strict. Wear it whenever the mood requires cake, strawberries and a tiny smiling face.

Much easier to carry than the real thing. And considerably less sticky.
