Astronaut Glass Christmas Ornament

This blown glass Christmas ornament is packed with tiny details, from the huge mirrored gold visor to the control panel, bright blue gloves and boots, red tubing and glittering gold spanner. The silver spacesuit has a wonderfully retro feel to it – less slick modern space programme, more childhood idea of what an astronaut ought to look like.

Made using traditional blown-glass techniques, each ornament is individually hand painted and finished with metallic colour and glitter details that catch the lights on the tree.
