Becksöndergaard Hot Fudge Brown Martha Wica Scarf

A chocolate brown wool scarf with a traditional checked border in dusty pink, cream and burnt orange, finished with a little embroidered bunch of flowers. Becksöndergaard's Martha Wica Scarf has the look of a vintage find, particularly with the combination of old-fashioned checks and delicate floral embroidery.

The embroidery sits in one corner, with a pink flower, tiny orange blooms and green stems. Fold the scarf into a triangle and the flowers sit just below the neck, with the checked border framing the whole thing. It's a really nice detail that makes this feel a bit more special than a plain wool scarf.

Made from 100% wool, the fabric is soft and lightweight with a slightly gauzy texture and fine fringed edges. The generous 90 × 90cm square can be worn folded around the neck, draped over your shoulders or tied loosely over a coat.

I'd wear this with dark denim, a cream knit or a brown leather jacket. The pink and orange against the chocolate brown is particularly good.
