Becksöndergaard Black Opany Triangle Scarf

This is where a very pretty knit meets black, and suddenly it becomes a completely different proposition.

The Opany is a long triangular scarf knitted in beautifully light, fluffy mohair, with an intricate pointelle pattern and the tiniest scalloped edge running all the way around. Those details could easily feel delicate or romantic, but in black they become sharper. You notice the texture of the knit rather than the prettiness of it.

The shape is what really sets it apart. At 46 x 135cm, there’s enough length to wrap it around your neck and let the point fall at the front, knot it more tightly like a little knitted neckerchief, drape it over your shoulders or wear it around the waist. It can change the shape of an outfit rather than simply being added on top of it.

Made from 67% mohair and 33% nylon, it has that lovely hazy, almost weightless finish that only mohair really gives you.
