Becksöndergaard Black Alpaca Wool Triangle Scarf

Triangle scarves are having a proper moment, and this black alpaca and wool one from Becksöndergaard is such an easy way to wear the shape.

It’s cut long and narrow, with those exaggerated pointed ends that look particularly good tied loosely at the front. You can also wrap it closer around the neck, wear the point at the front, or let it sit slightly off-centre. It gives you plenty to play with without the bulk of a huge rectangular scarf.

The fabric is a mix of 40% alpaca and 40% wool, so it has that lovely soft, slightly fuzzy surface and proper warmth while still feeling relatively light. And because it’s black, you can go a bit more directional with the shape without having to think too hard about what you’re wearing it with.

At 160 x 55cm, it’s generous enough to actually keep you warm rather than being one of those tiny triangle scarves that’s mostly there for decoration. I particularly like this with an oversized coat or leather jacket, tied at the front with the two long points left hanging.
