Milou Neelen began her career working for a Dutch fashion brand before transitioning to freelance illustration and launching her own brand. Hôtel Magique was born during a trip to the USA, where she discovered a large piece of Japanese Momi paper. Originally designing a wall canvas to evoke the feeling of a hotel in her own home, this concept evolved into what would become Hôtel Magique.

The brand quickly took shape, sparked by the positive energy surrounding the concept of "Magique." What started with posters and cards has since expanded into a range of products, all capturing the essence of Hôtel Magique.
