Bobo Choses Pink/Green Colour Block Sheepskin Chapka

The colours on this made me smile straight away. Moss green, bright green, bubblegum pink and that brilliant hit of orange on the peak shouldn't make sense together, but somehow they absolutely do.

I'm always a fan of a chapka because it's one of the few hats children genuinely keep on. The fleece-lined ear flaps make such a difference on cold days, and the clip fastening means they stay exactly where they're should, whether they're charging around the playground or being pulled along in a bike trailer.

The textured teddy fleece gives it a lovely cosy feel without making it look bulky, while the curved peak is practical as well as good-looking, helping to keep low winter sun and drizzle out of little eyes. I also like that the ear flaps can be worn loose or clipped underneath the chin depending on the weather.

This is one of those accessories that completely changes an outfit. Throw it on with the simplest coat and suddenly the whole thing feels more interesting. It's warm, practical and just the right amount of bold.
