Brie Soy Wax Candle

A wedge of Brie, vacuum packed and ready for the cheeseboard. Except somebody has rather helpfully put a wick in the middle.

Nata Concept Store’s Le Brie Candle is hand-poured in London from soy wax, with the pale creamy colour, wedge shape and slightly rippled surface of the real thing. Even the packaging commits to the idea, with the 135g candle sealed inside a clear vacuum-style pack that looks pleasingly at home amongst the actual cheese.

There’s no attempt at recreating the smell of a particularly ripe Brie, thankfully. Natural dyes and essential oils give the candle its fragrance, while the generous eight-hour burn time means this one can actually hang around for a while once you decide to light it.

Very good for dinner parties, kitchen shelves and gifting to the friend whose idea of a sensible cheese order is always one more than everyone else suggested.
