Le Bon Shoppe Black City Shorts

The City Shorts are based on Le Bon Shoppe’s cult Arc Pants, translated into an easy pull-on short with the same softly curved shape and subtle volume through the leg. The side panel construction gives them that slightly sculptural silhouette Le Bon Shoppe always gets right — relaxed, roomy, but still somehow neat.

They sit high on the waist with a comfortable elasticated band that feels more like an old favourite than a traditional denim short. The proportions work especially well with socks and sandals, chunky trainers, oversized shirting, or tiny rib tanks — the kind of pieces that look best a little imperfect.

Made in South Korea from sturdy cotton with a softened garment-washed finish, they already feel broken-in from the first wear. The washed black colour has that slightly faded, lived-in depth Le Bon Shoppe does so well — softer than a true jet black, with the kind of texture that works just as easily with crisp whites as worn greys and sun-faded neutrals.

Each pair is garment-dyed, giving subtle variation in tone, texture, and fit from piece to piece as part of the washing process.
