Konges Sløjd Swan Jody Teddy Jacket

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those jackets people stop you to ask about.

The swans are what make it. They're oversized, beautifully simple and scattered across the soft blue teddy fleece in a way that somehow feels calm rather than busy. It's playful, but it doesn't scream "children's clothing", which is exactly why I was drawn to it.

I also like that Konges Sløjd hasn't overcomplicated the shape. It's just a really good fleece jacket. A neat stand collar, an easy zip fastening and a relaxed fit that works over knits, sweatshirts or whatever your child has insisted on wearing that morning.

It's the layer I'd reach for on crisp autumn walks, trips to the playground or those in-between days when a coat feels like too much but a jumper isn't quite enough. Soft, warm and light enough that children can still move properly, which isn't always the case with teddy fleece.

There's something about this whole collection that feels a little nostalgic without trying too hard. Maybe it's the swans, maybe it's the colour palette, maybe it's the fact it looks as though it belongs in the pages of an old picture book.

Whatever it is, it completely won me over.
