Horse Vase Greeting Card

Sophie Deller’s take on a still life: two enormous red oranges sitting in a brown bowl decorated with a star-covered horse and tiny crescent moon.

The colours are particularly good – tomato red, chocolate brown, lilac and dark green, with three purple stars running along the bottom. It has the flat shapes and slightly wonky edges that make Deller’s illustrations so distinctive, and would look very nice propped on a shelf long after whoever received it was supposed to have recycled it.

There’s no message on the front, so it works for birthdays, thank-yous, congratulations or for writing something entirely unrelated inside.

Beautifully printed using vegan inks on heavyweight 300gsm Invercote board and supplied with a kraft envelope.
