Child in Vintage Costume Glass Christmas Ornament

This little winter child looks like they’ve stepped straight off a vintage Christmas card. Bundled up in a white snowsuit with a fur-trimmed bonnet, shiny red scarf and mittens, brown boots and a few golden curls peeking out underneath.

Made in Ukraine by skilled artisans, each ornament is individually mouth blown from German glass before being painted by hand using vibrant Italian paints. The pearly white suit is picked out with frosty glitter around the hood, cuffs and jacket, with rosy cheeks, painted lashes and tiny red lips adding to its old-fashioned Christmas character.

Because every ornament is blown and decorated by hand, there will be small differences between individual pieces. It’s the sort of Christmas decoration that feels made to be kept – carefully wrapped up in January and brought back out every December.
