Little Bee Glass Christmas Ornament

This little bee looks less like she’s been collecting pollen and more like she’s on her way to a very elaborate fancy dress party. Gold stripes, glittery knees, iridescent ankle cuffs and a magnificent bee bonnet complete with antennae. She’s committed to the look.

Her wonderfully old-fashioned painted face gives her the feel of a vintage Christmas decoration, while the transparent wings and glossy bronze and gold glass make her particularly beautiful once the tree lights are on. Look closely and there are tiny details everywhere, from the glitter stripes across her body to the shimmering tips of her little black shoes.

Made using traditional mouth-blown glass techniques, each ornament is individually hand painted and finished by hand. Small variations between pieces are part of the handmade process and mean each one will be slightly different.
